Anybody know if they offer TPMS valve stems for our cars with shorty black tips so they don't stick out so far?

Also if no shorty valve stems are available with the TPMS system, and I still decide to go with shorty valve stems without the TPMS systems, anybody know if there is a fuse dedicated to the TPMS system that I can pull so I don't have the low tire pressure light on, on my dash all the time?

    Thanks

Don't know for either question, but I have wheels being made now that'll have a bracket welded inside to hold OE-like TPMS sensors 180 deg off from custom made valve stems.

Wait what? I can't picture what you are describing.
The wheels I ordered have valve stems that come out near the center of the wheel. Apparently this is common now, as it apparently looks better since you don't really see them. However with our huge brakes that causes a problem as they will hit the brake caliper. This is the issue I'm having with my new wheels. So I need to get shorty valve stems. I'd prefer to have TPMS sensors with them, but local tire/wheel place manager said he's never seen shorty valve stems on TPMS sensors, only normal valve stems.
So if I need to get regular valve stems for the front wheels, I'd need to pull the low tire pressure light fuse, if they have one...or I need to return/sell the wheels/tires I got. But I've mounted and balanced the wheels and tires already, so the Tire Rack won't take them back.

It'll be a few weeks before I have them, so I only have a verbal description, with several possibilities running around in my head. For the same reason you have, front brake caliper clearance. Dude tells me it's becoming a fairly common workaround. May not be able to get that done at Tire Rack, but maybe another shop in your area that works with custom wheels

Looks like fuse #25 in the box in the battery compartment should be the one to pull

a bit too dark outside to recheck at the moment, and I'll have to unload a bunch of stuff from the trunk, but fairly sure I didn't typo the fuse #
might it be a different fuse for a 392?

yep, had to push the neg battery cable out of the way to take the cover off

edit: just checked a recently downloaded version of the owners manual, I know it's not exactly an authoritative document, but looks like HC and 392 are supposed to be the same ... 10 amp red mini fuse, in #25, in the rear power distribution center

only tried it once, killed the warning light, don't remember if I checked to see if pressures registered or not. it was a while ago. next time Im in the car, I'll check to see if 25 was indeed the one we pulled

have you tried disconnecting the battery to reset everything? was what finally resolved the issue for me. same basic cause, aftermarket toms. tried reprogramming them first, didn't work
