So with 702 miles my Shrek was approved by FCA to have his hood repainted because of "fisheye" in the matte black paint and to have the hood realigned. I dropped him off yesterday. This was the first Hellcat the shop has seen at all and they are a little nervous about working on it but they respect the vehicles they work on and do great work so I am confident that it will be perfect.
I can only compare this feeling to the feeling a parent would have of dropping off your only child to sleep away camp for the first time. You know it has to be done, but terrified to do it..Ugh.!!!!!!! I MISS MY BIG GREEN OGRE ALREADY...And so the wait begins again....

I had the same qualms when ours went in to have the super charger replaced. The dealership had had two HC's come in, but service never got close to them. They were in awe of Nigel and everyone came out to see him from their little cubbies. I was put at ease when they assured me only the service MGR and one other person were allowed to even drive him and they gave him his own garage bay inside.
It is funny how we miss them when they are not in their bed at night.
