Hello. I'm new to this forum. just picked up my first mopar. love my hellcat. driving home I noticed a slight shake thru steering wheel but only at 70 to 75 mph. Is that normal and have others had that in their new car at all. wondering if I should bring to dealer to have alignment checked. car is new, 14 miles at dealer. thanks for any thoughts.

Could be flat spots on the tires from sitting. Give it a few miles and see if it smooths out. Check your tire pressure also. They are overfilled at the factory. Mine was at 48psi

Same issue. Some have had good success with re-balancing the wheels/tires but this didn't solve my issue. Still working on a resolution.

thanks for the reply (same to USMC 341). the psi read 46 to 48 per tire when I was driving home ( saw that on the dash. that may be the issue. otherwise I will bring to a dealer. drove it 200 miles home and was fine at all other speeds. I hope you get yours figured out too. may just be a consequence of having 707 hp, its a muscle car.

That is the shipping air pressure. The dealer should have lowered it during the PDI. Bring it down to 32 PSI and if you still have any vibration at that speed have the tires rebalanced.

Mine came with high 40's in the tire which we lowered before the ride home. Latest from dealer is they are going back and forth with info. Hopefully learn more tomorrow. Roads are a mess and salted after a surprise snow storm yesterday evening so doubt I will be taking it for a ride right now anyway.
