The Hellcat is my 3rd Challenger and I washed it for the first time today. Something that I took for granted might be something others don't know about. After you are done(or you can do it as you are washing your car) you can turn the drivers and passenger mirrors to allow water to run out.

I really forgot about it until today. I figured this is the first Challenger for many people. I am not sure if it works on a Charger or not.

Thanks for the tip. I never even thought to try rotating them down. You get the 'tip of the day' award!

Any suggestions on the trunk lid. OMG. When I washed my car I had water coming out of the trunk lid area for the entire day LOL

I made the mistake of opening it about an hour after washing it. I guess I needed another shower :p

Yup. Even though I don't wash with water too much, that is a big help and does drain it much better. Now just gotta figure out something for the trunk. That thing holds gallons....:D

I tried opening and closing it like 10 times, seems to get most out.

I'll try that. I guess the guy who designed it never washed one of these things LOL.... I never saw THAT much water coming out of the trunk area of any car LOL. Thanks for the suggestion.

OK what's your favorite washless product. I love hearing what others are using. I use Chemical Guys Eco Wash for waterless and Optimum ONR for no rinse (also use water washes a lot too -- just depends on the situation and mood). Do share ;)

It seems to hold more water than previous challengers!

Thanks so much for the information., I too had a swimming pool in the trunk area. Never even crossed my mind to turn the side mirrors in. I have the satin hood so any ideas what to use on it? Plus I want to start taking the Beast to some shows, any advice on how to keep it shiny and new? It is my daily driver....I have to drive it to many of the local shows. Heading to Barrett Jackson this weekend and want it to shine once I get there. Thanks!

I just use a California duster and then quick detailer from a well known car cover company here on the forum.
