So ... I noticed the other day that someone (might have even been me, but I doubt it) drug their shoe across the threshold on the driver's side, and roughed the surface of the paint. I was not pleased, but, moving on. This was not an issue on the 2013 392 I traded in for the Hellcat, I realized that was because I had gotten the Mopar appearance package for the 2013, which included the sill guards. I looked on the Mopar site, and I really did not like the sill guards for the 2015's because it just lays in the middle of the threshold, looking pretty, and does not actually protect the lip (where my scuff mark is located). So, I ordered the same sill guards that I had gotten in the appearance package in 2013, they differ in that they actually cover the entire surface of the threshold because they wrap down over the edge. Super easy to install, including a picture in case anyone is interested.

    Part number: 8221 1234-001
Price through my dealership was $140 plus tax

PS - I think I might get some black paint and color inside the challenger lettering ... not certain yet. I found a set of black sill guards while doing a web search, but I was afraid that the paint would get scuffed up on them, and I do not want to be touching up the sill guards all the time.

There's another thread I think I might have started a month or so ago. There were some different pics on there. The black looked nice. I like the idea of no touch up though...

Ah, sorry ... I missed that thread or I would have just posted there. Oh well. Yes, I am really picky about my car and I would have been totally OCD about any scuffs on the black. Plus, there is a lil bit of chrome inside these cars, so it does not look bad. :)

Same ones that came on my 14 SRT Core. I liked them and they worked well. Thanks for the part #. If I ever get a Hellkitty built, I'll buy some.

I'm going to do something. Just not sure what yet. But I'll have that plus the mud flaps installed day 1. Thanks for the pic!

If it's chrome, Tammie won't like it cause it will not match. She will have to deal with touching up the black sills. :p

I thought about those, but, I am getting the ambient light kit installed next month, and I was afraid it would be too much with lighted sill guards added. I want to enhance Dante, but do not want to do too much, if you know what I mean. Plus, all of the lighted sill guard kits I have seen do not cover the lip of the threshold, and I did this specifically for protection.

I just found some with led backlight that say challenger. I just emailed the guy to see if he planned on offering "hellcat"with the head on it. The ones I saw were red and looked pretty awesome. I think I could live with those if necessary. Bottom of the page. Dodge Challenger Parts and Accessories Store Door sills

I like these, they look classy and aren't too gaudy. I think it's easy to over do it with a lot of Hellcat everywhere. I like that it just says "Challenger"

I had the same ones on my 2013 R/T. Loved the way they looked! I need to get ones for my Hellcat but I think I'll wait a bit to see if Dodge comes out with ones that say "Hellcat"...

The guy responded back that when Chrysler releases the logo they will offer them. Not sure what that means. I've seen plenty of other hellcat head stuff.
