I wanting to keep it relatively mild.. whats a "safe" setup to go with as far as a tune and pulley?? was going to just tune it but that makes no sense, if I void the warrant might as well do the pulley with it

Others will chime in to confirm but from what I have read you might need race gas for those numbers. (more towards 780 I mean) A 2.85 or 2.75 pulley is generally considered the cut off for 93 octane fuel. The tune alone is usually worth about 50 to 60 hp and not sure what a 2.85 pulley would be worth.

I, too, wanted to keep things on the mild side... so I went with just a 2.85 upper pulley. I went with the email tuning package from HHP, and had tunes done for 93 octane and MS109 fuel. Another thing to consider, which is a great "bang for the buck" mod, is the 3.09 differential.

With the 2.85 upper, the 3.09 diff, and using my MS109 tune, my car went 9.94 @ 138.... Mild mods, but with a result that speaks for itself...

How many emails/revisions or trips to the dyno did you have to make before getting your tunes in the sweetspot? Just curious as to how the process works. Thanks

Josh will send a conservative base tune... you will just do a quick pull on the street and datalog it.. send that log to Josh... he will review and adjust the tune as necessary... rinse, repeat until Josh is happy with what he sees on the logs

Just FYI. If your on a dyno usually it is 3 to 4 pulls. Call it one session if everything goes well.

I wanted a safe setup and went with the following on my M6 Hellcat: 285 pulley, HP tune, 180 thermo, and replaced the stock filter with a K&N filter, intake is stock. The rwhp and torque went from stock 671 rwhp, 616 torque to 753 rwhp to 661 torque. I don't track my car but these mods are very noticeable and have no regrets. Good luck.

This is a nice setup probably the one I will be doing eventually. This is a forever car for me. I will never sell it so how will these mods effect the reliability? Will the motor last with these mods?

Engine longevity will depend on a lot of things.. but, if you use good fuel, and more importantly, use a good tuner like HHP, you will be much further ahead in the long run

Yup DRs, BT dual catch can, Tazer line lock have been ordered on there way as we speak. Just haven't decided on driveshaft in CF or Aluminum yet. Stella's mods are next.

Also have the bwoodys intake on it's way even though it doesn't add HP I just wanted to hear more whine.
