Had a huge problem with check engine light on and not being able to shift (manual) 1st to 4th to 6th is the only way it shifted. Dealer said the solenoid wasn't seated. Happened again and now solenoid is bad. I have bought a skip shift eliminator that I am going to have installed. My question is will this void the warranty? I feel it is dangerous when the vehicle tells you when you can and can't shift. Any thoughts?

My srt tech said technically it can void it. But then he said what he doesn't see...he doesn't see, and what he doesn't know, he doesn't know. I think they should be lax on it, but I think they can void it if they wanna be dix ;-)
