Just wondering if the same "skip shift eliminator" that we've been using on previous T6060 manual transmissions can be used with the Hellcat configuration.
Any help/info would be appreciated! ;)

Thanks for posting this CD. For some of you that have not noticed, the manual indicates that in some circumstances 2nd and 3rd gear on the manual is "locked out" so you go right to 4th. I was having an off forum conversation with CD about this because I was not clear on the circumstances and how this worked since I haven't had a manual tranny for quite a few years. I am hoping to get info on how to avoid this and/or what benefits it may have.:)

The alleged benefit is to increase fuel mileage. The actual fact is that this can be dangerous.
If you're accelerating hard, the solenoid is bypassed by the TCU and you're allowed to shift "normally" 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, etc. If you're NOT "getting on it", the skip-shift forces you to shift from 1st to 4th, locking out 2nd and 3rd gear from the progression. This isn't always safe - especially if you need to get through the gears quickly without creating havoc (i.e.- you're turning on an arrow at an intersection, and some schmuck runs the light on the "red" side of the intersection).
There is a "skip-shift eliminator" available for previous years of the T6060 manual transmission. I'm "hoping" that will also work on the Hellcat 6-speed manual transmission. It's not very costly, and is pretty easy to install.

For those unfamiliar with this "feature", you can read about it here:

TRUE THAT! Now I have a reason to drive balls out all the time and give the cops my excuse. It skips gears if I don't hit high rpms! Lol;)
