So, I have about had it with others turning a wrench on my car. Right now I would like nothing better than to do my own wrenching, but life is really busy and while I have every tool necessary just don't have a lift yet. So how about this one....
    1. Paid handsomely as some of you know to replace a certain brand of rear control arms because since early May I took the car in to this dealer and they said the arms were leaking. In retrospect adding more grease to stop the click and clack was needed but we did not because we thought the damn grease is going everywhere.

    2. Picked up the car after installation of Speedlogix supplied Razor Edge control arms, the best stuff now IMO, last Thursday night. Ran to work and back some other minor stuff say drove 75 miles.

    3. Sunday I cleaned and detailed it, had to then change the wheels/tires to the OEM stuff I use racing. Started with the right rear. Damn! More grease and stink than I have seen in about 50 years of remembering anything mechanical. My wheel, tire and splashing on the wheelwell and BRAKES. Nice. Guess no racing on Monday. Took it back to the dealer.

    4. Diagnosis: we will replace both your axles on warranty, but it will happen again because of the aftermarket items installed. So I had I to commit my funds to overnight the axles instead of next Tuesday delivery. And, the dude did not confirm if we adjusted up or down 1/4" when he throws it together, last week, of course it comes back 1/4" higher..yep, I wanted it just a tick down. Sorry dude, they say, he needs to drop the cradle again for that manueavor if you want to pay, sure, otherwise, pound sand. I bet the service advisor $70,000 that they were wrong about the aftermarket parts.

    5. On Monday afternoon on a whim because no one would believe this nonsense I call down and tell Chris at Speedlogix the story. He quickly flips the picture I posted Monday here asking WTF to Razors Edge. Imagine the glee as I get the message the Razors Edge dudes quickly recognize the top arm is installed backwards.

    6. My service advisor can be nominated for advisor of the year. She quickly coordinated the parts and informed me my car would be taken care of and delivered today, so that I may race in my first NASA HPDE Saturday.

    7. She called me in near tears this morning. Some fXXX must have decided to knee my rear right quarter panel!

    8. I would not want to be them.

Whatever, bet it will be a cold day in Hell before a service department has my Hellcat without a guard.

If something ever happened like that at my dealership it would have already been to a body shop getting it repaired like wtf you don't do that to someone car and not fix it one. On a good note i give her props for calling you with bad news knowing that you were getting ready to be pissed but good god man they could **** up a wet dream!!

I would be killing me some service guys!! Have you looked into Gforce rear axles? They were one of the sponsors on the power tour, they are working on a entire rear end assembly, guy told me cost about 6-6500 for the whole set up.

What an absolute cluster down there David. Instead of working to make things right......Some lame puke has to go and do something like that to your rear quarter??? Sure hope you get a meeting with the owner and senior staff to get some sort of resolution.

Sorry the crap show continues for you on this deal. Makes me sick thinking about that dent.....and how anyone could possibly match that tri-coat.

Guess I'd also ask them to check security camera footage.........the dealer can't afford to have a puke like that working for them......word is going to get around!!!!!

    My MaxJax shows up tomorrow...

    :D

It's not the one I wanted, but it fits this house.

The wife didn't like my idea that I bought a HC and now that I want to change my own oil, I now need a two post lift and we don't have enough ceiling height for a full-rise, so I said we need a new house.

    She said "no"...

So I stumbled onto this two post mid-rise...

    Problem solved...

There's no other place that can do work for you? It sounds like you'll never be able to trust them.
