It has been two months now. My order was placed with HHP on Feb 15, 2-4 weeks delivery. We read that two weeks ago you were testing the plugs for A8 Challengers. Just how tough is this? Just when can I look forward to receiving my driveshaft that you took a 100% deposit on?? Are you enjoying running your business on my cash?

Supporting vendors help pay the bills. Have one of the staff members get involved to find out what is going on. Don't. Get me wrong, I would be upset too!!!!!

No problem with you Brother. I really don't or want to get cross with my bro's on here. Hell, I have even warmed to Bo! Once I read once he said he may want one someday, then there is even hope for him!

I am thinking I may have them just keep it. Filling out taxes today, screw it. Drag racing can wait, I am in the construction business, this is something where you either declare them in default or press for a convenience termination. They are playing out of their league. Apparently this grease slinging probelm with a few holes has blown their minds. How can I have confidence the remainder of the product is applicable and will work long term?

    DSS,

Any update would be appreciated. I understand that you guys sent overnight plugs for re-testing and would like to your hear input on it. Is there a plan to open the shipment of A8 this week or decision is still pending upon further testing.

    Thanks,

Im sorry this is taking so long but wanted to make sure the plugs were correct, We will start shipping the Auto shafts (manual cars did not have the extra holes) in a day or two.

DSS does not charge for parts unless there shipped (unless its a internet sale from our site and payed by Payal) im sorry we held this back but having it with out the proper parts for install would not be good either, We have confirmed the caps and written info. we will be sending out parts tomorrow when we get the caps, it may take a few days for all to ship.

If your car was MANUAL this is not needed.......

if you have purchased a shaft from us directly you will automatically get the kit, if you have sent me a message with all your info to our EMAIL addres they will ship also. If purchased from a vendor you can either send me your info to sales at driveshaftshop . com (sorry can write it correctly on an open forum) and we will get it it out, multiple kits are also being sent to vendors so it can be picked by them but we prefer you contacting us (please do not send PM's here, emails are better distributed to the correct person for shipping) Im very sorry this happened but we worked with some of the best in the business on this one and it was missed by all.

here is veiw of the issue and what it to be done, caps can be pushed in from the back but if allot of grease has escaped we have supplied more grease (shaft will have to be removed to put in)

Just curious as I want to order a drive shaft for my automatic when it arrives -

It would seem that the prudent thing to do is to correct the design and send out corrected ones from now on out?

Are the Auto Trans drive shafts from this point on going to be made without the 3 holes , or just sent with plugs and grease ?

    Thank you.

The holes are on the part that is on the car, the caps will seal them off. all new shafts will be sent with caps and grease

Thank you for your quick reply- so in other words the new shaft rests next to these so there is no chance of them having issues other than perhaps the plastic degrading ...

If so, this makes sense -
