Had a great time at Cars and Coffee this weekend. Got to meet a lot of great people, and got to talk to someone else who owns a Hellcat! Big shout-out to RedHemi for talking with me, and telling me about the pictures. A a local photographer posted a bunch of great pictures online of my car (pictured below), my wife's XLR, and Reds Hellcat.

Great looking pics. Where was this at? Why are the shipping protectors still on?

I took mine off . I think it will leave marks over time. You can still put them on for shows by slipping them on. Don't forget to take them off after or they will go By By.

Why would you want to put them back on for anything except driving it up a trailer or flatbed? They look stupid!

I actually drive my cat. 100 miles a day when it's nice (I have over 11k miles on it already). I drive over speed bumps, steep driveways, and all kinds of road types. The yellow protectors are all scuffed and messed up on the bottom instead of my splitter. They have already saved me from messing up the front end, so it's not so stupid for me to keep them on.

I have them on, They compliment the Billet silver well. You can sand down the to be removed by dealer nice and smooth.

Was this Pottstown C and C? Looks like there is a Mopar meeting in King of Prussia this weekend. Haven't seen many cat buddies locally yet.

So do I. I've managed to do fine without them. If you like them that's all that matters. Me when I look at your pictures all I see is stupid yellow things and I don't even notice the car. :D

So why don't guys who want to keep the factory protectors for splitter-protection just get them painted to match the color of their particular HC?

Allows them to still be anal, but matching paint would improve the look.

When I bought my cat I thought the protectors were accent pieces from the pictures. I was kind of disappointed when I learned they were protectors. I also happen to be a Lakers and a Vikings fan though...
