It's funny that you posted this. I just noticed this on mine this afternoon on my way home from work. It's fairly annoying actually.

I have this problem as well. I have just been dealing with it. Would be nice to have it turn off properly. I'm running version 15.30.2

Well documented issue here for over a year. No fix yet. Tons of complaints and lots of posts about it.

Good to know. I thought it was a bug that would just get fixed by the next time I took the car in. So, it doesn't look like it will be fixed anytime soon. :(

Driving us all nuts lol. My 2015 didnt have it until they updated the software. Was fine before they touched it. Voila there it was after, never did get it resolved. Traded it in for the '16 and same issue. For now the work-around is before you move the car, turn it on then off again i think. It stays off for that one ride but also seems to limit the volume altogether at the same time so...frustrating as hell really.

There is probably a star case open for this and FCA is most likely working on a software update that fixes this concern

Many of us sincerely hope that is the case, because it has been an issue for quite some time now, and it is annoying as hellcat! :D

Mine does it too. Mine was built 04/25. You would think this would be an easy fix.

This began on the update from back in October. It's always good to search the forum and keep the convos going in existing threads so people don't have to jump across several threads to put info together.

It's an ongoing issue that SRT knows about. They recently released a new flash that supposedly fixes it. Some folks reported back saying it worked. Many more however had serious issues and many of their functions (or the entire system) don't work anymore because this was a flash ONLY for 2015's, and they flashed their 2016s. Woops.

Believe it or not the fix is to put the speed volume control on setting 1. That's what I've done and it works.

No. It doesn't. You must turn the option on then off before moving the car.

If you simply put it on 1, it is running. 1 is just the least sensitive setting, but it is absolutely modulating your volume.

Exactly. Putting it on 1 only limits the volume across all volume levels. Basically neuters all of the volume.
