On Easter my husband took his brother for a ride, and he noticed smoke pouring out the back. After coming home he thought the radiator hose came loose (that problem we have been hearing about ). He called had it towed to the dealer come to find out is not the hose, but a split radiator at the seam. They did a pressure test
It was spewing fluid. My car only has 1500 miles on it. .hopefully this is just a defect, and not a wide spread problem. Just for you people to be aware. He was only going 50 mph wasn't kicking it. It was built on 11/14/14 build number 623.

Very sorry to read this Carolyn. I'm just hoping that this was part of a faulty batch and not an epidemic. What I don't get is the journos caned the hell out of all the demo cars and I don't believe a single Hellcat had a problem. No one blew a rad, shredded a supercharger belt or broke a driveshaft

I agree it's funny isn't it? I know all new designed cars have issues, but damn. I'm just glad Brian was driving and not me I would of panicked.

Well the end cap on these radiators are plastic. Mine totally blew apart at 1267 miles. Totally pissed.

The Dodge tech commented that he couldn't believe they put that thing in a 707 HP car. We will be seeing more of these I'm sure. Mine blew the entire contents of the radiator out in about 10 seconds.

Once the cat was run in we were talking about driving to Germany for a break and running on the autobahn to stretch it legs. Not so sure that is a bright idea at the moment.

If you are going 175 mph on the autobahn and your radiator blows like mine did, then I hope your family has good life insurance.
