Last night when I was turning into a parking spot I heard a squeaking noise so I did some slow turns in the parking lot and sure enough it continued. Any ideas what it might be before I take it to the dealer?

I am getting a noise as well now taking tight turns. It is not squeaking, more of slight groan or moan from the back end. I thought it was my wife complaining but she was not in the car. I am about 1,000 miles from next oil change and will have them check it when it goes in. There are threads about it. Some say it is normal but i have not heard it before. I have 6400 miles on mine. I think they drain and add new fluid with some friction additive to the diff and it takes care of it. It is only when I take tight turns like in a parking lot. good luck .

If you want to let them drain/refill fine. Don't let them swap differentials just for the groan. You'll be chasing your tail.

image.jpeg Groan is normal from a LSD. The squeaking-check the left rear mount area. Some castings have cracked here. One members made a squeaking noise.
