I wanted to buy a Challenger SRT last year but found the front spoiler would drag on my driveway.I ended up with an RT,hemi which barely cleared the driveway. I have checked and the SRT 292 had a 1/2 inch lower front end. I was in the car dealers getting an oil change and saw a new Challenger Hellcat. When I measured the tip of the spoiler it was the same as the RT. The Hellcat spoiler flares a lot but when I tested it would go in the driveway fine .
I don't know if there have been any design changes, but it may be ,if you can't get the SRT 292 in your driveway you will just have to get a Hellcat! That's what I did.

redhemi is correct. Just ask the wrecker driver that tore up the one on my cat last week taking it to the dealer. I suggested loading the car backwards but he ignored me.

I didn't say anything, but fortunately we are redoing the kitchen,so I had that covered. It took her two seconds to spot the Bembros. I told her she could drive it ,but so far she has declined, out of fear, I think.
I parked it that night it across the street at the out of town neighbor's house with the headlights facing the house and started it on remote. The thing snarled and the headlights came on. The exhaust note echoed off the neighbor's garage door. It was like that old movie Christine! What an experience.

    back it in......

the hellcat front splitter is about 7 inches off the ground. the problem is not the 7 inches it is the length...how far it sticks out before the tires start to go over. I had to purchase some ramps extenders to get this in a trailer.

I have to reverse up my drive to the garage. If I can take it at a good 90 degree angle I am fine. If there are parked cars I have to scuff my splitter. Not the end of the world as I reckon most of the noise is from my hideaway plate.

We have a bad in/out angle as you turn off the uphill street into our uphill driveway. When I take the car out I use a section of carpet which just cushions the spoiler underside enough that there are no scrapes or marks. I leave it at the end of the driveway and reverse the process going back in. Small PITA but beats scraped up splitter.

If you have the Hellcat the sides of the spoiler stick out,so for me the solution was to make sure I go in straight. I also put in some concrete at the very bottom of the driveway.

My 09 SRT never had problem going in/out of the driveway but the HC splitter drags if there are 2 people in the car. Solution was to install splitter protectors and let them take the abuse. So far it is working well. Now to buy some ramps that work with the HC.

You should change your screen name to "Not Catless" or "Formerly Catless"! :D

I don't see anyway to change the screen name. Maybe I just claim I removed the "Cats".
