Hellcat SRT Info.JPG When I took delivery of my Hellcat there was an SRT info card on the visor. I scanned it and attached it in case anyone would like to read it. I found it interesting that if you "brake torque" the car too long, it with illuminate the ETC light and it has to be reset by the dealer. I can see that happening quite a bit with this car.;)

Also, the car has an "Adaptive Transmission" that will fine tune it's calibration within the first 300 miles of driving. Wellllll... if I am supposed to "baby" the car during the break-in period, why would I want the transmission to "calibrate" itself to "baby style" driving?o_O

1-4 skip shift. That's a big yuck. My `09has that & I absolutely hate it. With a 390 gear you can't get out of first with out going over 2000 rpm, if you do second gear is not there before it gets to running temp. I was really hoping this car wouldn't have that.

Cool info. So is this something new for the Hellcats only with the ETC light? Does anyone have info on what exactly happens and how easy is it to do this? We've seen so many auto Hellcats doing plenty of brake torquing/burnouts and they didn't go into limp mode, and I never saw the light on in the videos. Or do they mean just torquing without spinning like at the track staging. That I could see if it times it or senses too much heat.

Fuel economy? Yeah right! The skip shift is to keep you from blowing out 2nd gear, so they don't have to replace the $4000 transmission under warranty.

Maybe the aftermarket tuners will have the capacity to turn the ETC light off. My tuner in my other car can turn off idiot lights if I tell it to.
