I haven't received my SRT yet. (Due in at the end of the month)

I'd like to get Gorilla nuts to replace the stock lug nuts, but I'm not sure whether to get the black or chrome.

I've heard that the stock wheels on the SRT392 have a kind of 'Gun Metal' coloring. If one of you who have an SRT can post a close up photo of one of the wheels, that might help in my decision whether to get the black or chrome. Your suggestions regarding the color selection also welcome.

    Thanks in advance. ;)

Get chrome in my opinion, unless you have other black to contrast with. Also, be sure to get the factory-matched size lugs, otherwise they'll look too small for the wheels - again, my opinion. I'm assuming you're talking about the locking lugs, correct? Part number is 96643DX (just 96643 at Speedlogix). You have to special order these almost anywhere as they are not widely available. Got mine from Discount Tire.

    Thanks Nitemare.

I'm definitely going with the chrome and I'll make sure I verify that I'm ordering the correct locking lugs (96643) when I call Speedlogix. ;)

Here's side by side pics of the chrome versus black lug nuts on my car.

Personally I think the black looks much better. But I also swapped out the center caps too.

And a side shot of the whole car after the swap.

Where did you get the black center cap with SRT on it? I might go with the black lock lugs if I can also get those center caps.

    Flex.

Being I don't have my SRT yet, can you tell me if the center cap on the wheel is 2" or 2 1/2". I think it should be 2 1/2 as I want to order the correct size from Billet Technology. My wife (and I) like the black.

    Thanks in advance.

The stock SRT392 wheel is vapor black (I think that is what the call it). It's similar to a black chrome. Note though that the centercap is bright chrome like the lugnuts (not black). If you want to replace the lugnuts then I'd suggest chrome rather than black as the centercap is chrome.

I'm looking to replace the center caps as well so the black lug nuts will match the center-cap as in the photo of the previous post above.

I just wanted to make sure you were aware that they came with the chrome. I thought it was odd first time I saw it. You almost don't notice as the chrome reflects the surrounding black finish from the wheel..... As long as you know your good ;)

I wanted those wheels bad when I first got my car. After seeing them in person I changed my mind. I like them but I like the satin better. It's nice when you like what you already have.... Saves cash!

    You want the 2.5" one.

Billet Technology Dodge Chrysler Factory Wheel Center Caps

Click that link and scroll down it says at the bottom 2.5" for the 2015 SRT & Hellcat.

I would suggest buying some Loctite threadlocker in advance to use when installing. Each cap is held on with a set of washers and 3 small screws.

Also don't torque those little screws too tight. I ripped the head right off one. So one of mine is only held one with 2 screws now.
