My car came with the all season tires and they are not even in the ball park as far as grip. Any time under 50mph I gas it hard they just spin. 1/4 throttle off the line they spin. They all most always spin. 2000 miles and the rears are getting thin quick. Cant wait to get some good tires. Still looking for a Z rated tire with the grip to use at least half the engines power with out turning to smoke.

The top speed rating is to low on them. I have had cars up in the 170 range before and trying to get a friend to get me on the run way at a local air port so I want the speed rating.

I'm not too sure you're gonna get a sticky tire for launches and retain a speed rating for your airport runs at this time or we'd all have them.

got nitto 555r's along with the 500 mile oil change....my tires dont spin unless you just floor it.....i ease it down until it shifts into 3rd and then hit the floor

0-60 in 3.5-3.7 every single time(unless im at the track and nervous).....with TC on......test what your getting and you will see how much DR's will improve your car

the trade off is wear, you can get a more sticky tire but they wear out faster. I still have the stock tires ( P-zeros summer option) but I will switch out to the Nittos. I won't be much help on the traction department since I am a M6 guy. But I can tell you I will not run slicks on the track ( on this car). If I want to run faster at the track I will use a different car.

From what I have read the all season tires are a joke but I can see why they provide them on a street car. I am pleasantly surprised with the Summer tire option.

I'm gonna try the coopers for my next set to see how much mileage I can get on them. If I get 30K, I'll be happy.

If they are like the p zeros, but have better tread like, I'll be happy. These are for city driving, not track. Hopefully.

I completely agree with your statement. I just had that conversation with my wife, these tires suck. Dodge did the same with one of the worst tires ever, the Goodyear Supercar whatever the name was. They lasted 10k miles and they will spin every time. I think I'm going with the Nitto 05 tires.
