Stock is just that a car dealers has for sale on lot. Sold is one customer placed a order on

Yep as long as it is a sold order.

Doesn't necessarily pick the one with the earliest date and VON either. Dealer can change the priority in which they get scheduled. Most WILL/SHOULD be keeping them in date/VON order, but it is not a guarantee. Just FYI

Lets say the dealers buddy, or a sports athlete came in last month, they can put their build Priority higher than the sold order(s) they have had months prior. No way you'll be able to know this unless they show you their ranking, cannot trust your POC sheet.

Okay and then after they get and sell that one will they get another allocation?

First, there is no way your dealer knows now if they are getting an allocation week of March 10th, so lets get that out of the way. Next, if the current car you are talking about is the March allocation, the next time they can come up for a car is in April. They CAN get another one for April since the one chosen for March is a SOLD order. Rinse and repeat this process for May, June, July, and August if they keep the allocation process the same.

    Ok here's my situation:
Dealer has 3 STOCK orders ahead of my SOLD order. From what I've been told from the sales manager and their dodge rep that they're not 100% positive but pretty optimistic that this dealership will get an allocation in March. So my understanding is that my order will be pushed ahead of their stock orders. Correct or am I just an idiot dreaming?

Oh and they showed me the order list and I'm the only SOLD order on there. No one in front or behind me.

Pretty sure if you follow that flowchart that the stock orders kill your chances of being in this allocation cycle.

Yes, if they are eligible, and meet the 90 day sales threshold, your order should be picked ahead of their stock orders

Ok that's what I was concerned about (the 3 previous orders). Was told by the person that orders the vehicles that sold orders get pushed ahead but with the demand on this vehicle and I want to double and triple check everything. I don't mind waiting for my order just the "not knowing" factor bugs the crap out of me. Guess I'll know more the second week of March

I might just try to call SRT or email them to get some kind of concrete answer. I read the chart as if the dealer has stock orders but no sold orders they are not getting an allocation but if they have a sold order and meet the 90 day sales they will get one. Not every situation fits the chart perfectly
