So what size is every one running for Drag Radials? I wont be at the track, mostly on the street. Sunny, and dry days only. Running NT05Rs on a few cars.. The new Hoosiers I hear are the way to go.. What do you have?

What Hoosier's? 16" was biggest and I just checked the site and a new 18" is coming but way too tall and fat.

There was a r7 315-40-19.. It was a group buy.. If they worked well, we could go in on a group buy and get some made. But I've never used them before. Looking for experience.

I can't find that on their site. I will get M/T's 18 or 20 inch when I get my car off of VON purgatory

Nitto and Micky Thompson are the only ones making a 20 inch DR. 305-35-20 seems to be what every one is running, any one try the 315-35-20??

for a stock car, yes, 700 is a lot. If you have an issue, Dont reply, and leave. Its this kind of negativity that gives forums a bad name, and gives people a bad name.

The Drag Radials are 10.5 inch tires. The stock rim is 9.5 inch.
The tire will have a ballon side wall.

I'm betting the Toyo R888's are a good alternative also. They can handle and be very stable at the high speeds this car is capable of, are much sticker than any typical summer performance tire, and should handle better than any DR would if you feel like throwing the beast around some turns every now and then.

    Check em out
