Which mode do you drive in for your hellcat and why?

If you are in storage then you can just tell us how much you've enjoyed walking by and visiting your hellcat each day and what you've been doing to keep your hellcat active as part of your day.

Also please add if it is safer or more dangerous compared to the other modes.

    Thank you for posting

You joke, but if you are planning on keeping it in storage for long periods, you can put the car into shipping mode to conserve battery drain as it turns a lot of the systems off and only has the bare essentials. 1) Turn engine off. 2) Turn hazard lights on. 3) Hold up arrow on steering wheel for 5 seconds and it will enter shipping mode. Do it again to put it back in normal/customer mode.

Credit to DrBuick for the steps.

Though I do drive the car in all conditions, with the winter we've had I can't push the car THAT hard... I use all drive modes depending on my mood. My Custom Drive Mode is set to Track Transmission, Sport Suspension, Street Traction Control (complete hybrid). 700hp mode on all drive modes of course. :) I end up driving in my Default mode the most due to the conditions. ECO mode if I'm driving through snow/ice. Once winter passes I'll probably spend most of my time in my Custom Drive Mode.

Almost have it, but it will sit in storage mode. It will sit between our daily drivers because of the way our garage drains. Yes, up in the great white north it will get a heated environment up on the "high" ground in the garage. Bad thing is every time I get into my daily driver I will have to look at it and walk around it. Think you are strong enough to do that from Nov-March every year??

When did storage mode come into play? Is it on any older SRT models? I have a 2007 SuperBee that I store in winter, but have to pull one of the main fuses.

I believe, though someone like DrBuick can confirm that it came into play with the 2015 Challengers, or at least with the newer UConnect and Driver Information Display systems found on non-Challenger models. Prior method was to pull a fuse, as you've pointed out.

There is a IOD fuse you can pull on older models in the trunk. This is the first year on challengers
