So after the cat has sat for a day or two she starts up and starts stumbling like it's not getting enough air and almost dies. After it does that it finds it's way back and is fine. Has anyone else had or having this problem? I'm not going to leave my car for a day or two at the shop so they can try to duplicate it. I'm changing the oil today and will look at the air filter. Something tells me it's in need of some update. Thanks for the help everyone!

Hmm ... I have not had that problem with Dante. Due to different circumstances I have had to leave him sitting for longer than I'd like (2.5 weeks once), and he has started up like a champ. Hopefully someone else can give you some insight.

Mine did that before too. Where it actually stalled out. Thought maybe i just didn't hold in the ignition long enough since mines an M6. The A8 i believe u just have to touch but the m6 you have to hold in longer

How often? It does it for me with remote start too. Thinking about opening up the air filter if I let it sit for a day or two before starting it up to see if that helps. IMO it's struggling for air.

It was random so dealer could not reproduce. It only happened after sitting 2-3 days and i wasnt about to leave it at the dealer that long. It would fire all the way to 3k rpm then stumble and recover. Actually stalled once. It didn't happen that often so I just lived with it.

Same here remote start only began after fuel rail swap. That had me thinking maybe fuel evap system it's back in same area where they un plug the rail. That was a long time ago. It's wierd. I let my car sit for over a week fired up perfect. Now it's back again. I changed the rail twice tested pressure decay nothing found. Sent you pm will report back Tuesday as I said.

Ya I'll live with it. They are not getting my cat for days. I bet if we complain enough we will see a TSB come out of it. It probably just needs more of something on start up which they can flash for us.

I think I may have something to do with the 0/40 oil in my humble opinion
