    Hello,
This is my first post here, although I have been reading for months. I have the next allocation at a semi-local
dealer here in TN. Ordering a black Charger Hellcat, with red belts, BM wheels, and hopefully a sunroof. This vehicle will be added to my 2000 Viper and 2003 Durango RT
Does anyone know what the cost of the sunroof is for 2016? I see the cost on the SRT is 1,195 but on autorader I saw a window sticker that listed 1,995 for a Hellcat sunroof? Any input from those rare '16 orders that were able to get a sunroof? Also, does anyone know if the on-again-off-again sunroof status is open or closed for new orders? Thanks, Mark

I agree with KoolKat, you need the rigidly for the torque that hellcats going to put out.

Ditto. I had to take a sunroof on my new Cat, also. If I had been able to find an open allocation somewhere I would have ordered without the sunroof again.

Diff strokes for diff folkes. I love my sunroof, brings in some light when I want it and feel it breaks up the solid color a bit aesthetically. I really don't worry for one minute about twisting my body/frame because of it. Maybe if I upgraded my drive shaft, tubbed it with some huge slicks......maaaaybe.

I really enjoy my sunroof. No worries or problems with twisting (urban myth). since it a factory design, know that FCA did their homework and put necessary additional re-inforcements to ensure it was structurally sound.

This isn't an aftermarket cut a hole in the roof and drop in window frame.

I agree with Jolly! I love my sunroof, and if the torsional rigidity was in question then Dodge would not have offered a sunroof option on a Hellcat. ;)

    But then you'd have a $1295 sunroof surrounded by a 392...

Have a '15 SRT392 with it, love it. Nothing like opening it up as the sun is going down on a summer evening. Its the only reason i didnt get a HC the first time lol, wanted a sunroof. In April last yr it wasnt an option. New HC should be here in two wks or so, got it. Wouldnt want it without it. Really dont believe the rigidity will be an issue, im thinking they beefed the roof up enough to pass the testing and im not tracking the car anyway.
