Can the snout of the Supercharger be separated from the main housing. Or is it all one piece. The reason I ask is it looks like the bearing on my Supercharger is starting to fail. I have no warranty so I can't just take it too my local dealer and get it exchanged under warranty.

I'm thinking the OP modified the car in some way, the reason for no warranty.

That is very helpful, many thanks

About a week ago I noticed in queuing traffic I could hear a metallic bearing noise from the front end. Once you are into the throttle you cannot hear it of course.

Personal import to the UK so no warranty.

My good friend and mechanic Brian came over last night. We are pretty sure that the bearing noise is coming from the Supercharger snout. 3700 miles on the Cat

FCA voids the warranty on any car that is imported or exported...
