Okay, so I've been driving my Hellcat Charger for 400 miles, including a trip to PA today.

    Car is perfect...

    BUT...

I'm feeling very little difference in the suspension modes compared to my previous 2015 SRT 392 Charger. In that car the switch to TRACK was pretty obvious.

But in the Hellcat I really don't feel much difference in the ride, though the street modes soak things up nicely. I spoke to a fellow Cat owner and he says the Hellcat springs are much firmer, so the changes in the settings doesn't feel as dramatic as with the softer-springed SRT 392, but I'm not sure he's right.

Thoughts and feedback on your suspension modes (especially from Charger Cat owners) is most welcome!

    Thanks,

    Robert

The HC is my first Challenger, but the difference between street and track modes are quite noticeable...at least to me.;)

How about we use a scale from 1 to 10. 1 being no difference and 10 being completely different car. I'd say it's a 6 or 7. Anyone? I have a challenger.

In my challenger, the different between street and track is like a pillow to a plank.

So I guess that's a 10. Is your plank made of oak, mahogany, pine or balsa wood.

You put 400 miles on it in one day? How many miles did you have on delivery?

Captain has been waiting for this baby to show up so I was expecting that he's going to put that much miles quickly.

6 miles when I picked it up. Drove it 50 miles to our yacht club and back. Then 20 to car show and back. Today we drove 150 miles to PA and back. And then last night I took it for a spin at around midnight!

Good lord...what a car! The power from 70 MPH is just crazy.

But yeah...suspension differences don't feel like they did in my SRT 392 and less substantial.

    Along the lines of petrified...

My challenger gets stiff. But, I'm somewhat sensitive to stiff suspension.
Having driven 1 ton trucks all my life, im a bigger fan of the lifted, sway from side to side, speed bump, what speed bump, type of suspension.

Glad your having fun with the new ride! I have a 15 charger hellcat and have had it for about a year now. Track vs street suspension should be noticeable. I live in WI and half our roads are terrible though. Change from street to track on a bumpy road and you will notice. I had a ZL1 before this, and normal mode rode harsher that street mode on hellcat, yet track in ZL1 didn't seem as firm as in hellcat. But it's two totally different cars and the mag ride could be as stiff or stiffer and still adjust to provide a "decent" ride.

the difference on regular surface roads between Street and Track mode just makes for a bumpy ride to me, its not until I get on an actual road course track that the difference becomes apparent, then its ON!! no doubt the car holds tighter in the corners, brakes better, and handles elevation changes with less traction loss.
