So, finally after 1 1/2 years of waiting, looking and haggling, it looks like Monday will be the day I get my Hellcat.
I am trading in my 15 SRT 392 Charger and I really prefer the hyper black SRT rims over the matte black cat wheels. I want to ask the dealer to swap wheels between the two cars as partn of the deal.
If he goes for it, do the TPM's have to be programmed to the car or will they work as is?

They should auto re-learn after about 10 minutes,
At least they did when I put new wheels on my 16. I put after market rear wheels and sensors on and after second test drive light went away.
Just make sure they are not those junk multi fit sensors.

They will relearn once you drive.

Good point. I just assumed they were the same. Tire size is the same (i think) 275/40 20

    A quick Google search confirms SRT392 & Hellcat wheels are both 20 X 9.5

I too had a 15 SRT 392 and I always thought I would much prefer the Hyper Black Rims. But I actually really liked the satin Black once I got the Hellcat. I would never have the dealer swap out used stuff for brand new stuff. I would not do it. I think you will like it as is.

There will be zero issues swapping as far as TPMS is concerned. It's plug and play, no action necessary.

And I doubt that they would do that deal but I doubt you will have any problem swapping someone in a 392 SRT for your hellcat wheels. Seems I saw someone on the other forum looking for just that deal.

My dealer swapped mine for some off an SRT. They were happy to do it and I was happy to get my Hyper black wheels. there was no fit issue as long as it's a 2015 or newer. I also swapped my gas cap for a chrome one. Found a guy that wanted mine and I wanted his. Very easy to do too! 20151214_161237_resized.jpg 20151023_153817_resized.jpg

They absolutely will fit. They're the same wheels just diff color. I have a perfect complete set, tpms sensors, tires, caps n all from my 15 SRT if you want to trade.

Love the Hyper Black...wish it was an option like the BM wheels. What color is your Hellcat that's coming in on Monday? Congrats too :)

Totally agree Wayne. I have been trying to find a set to purchase outright, but so far no luck finding a set that's reasonably close to me.

I can't remember for certain, but I think Slowpoke was from Massachusetts. He seems like a good guy and wanted to swap wheels, if I recall correctly.

B5 blue, buying off the lot. They've had it for over a month. Dropped the price to almost $1k below MSRP. Add my 4k voucher from last year and I'm looking at $63k for a new 16 Charger! !
