Hello All,
A brief update ... my Mother will be going to UAB in Birmingham, AL for cancer treatments and will be staying there for several weeks (at least 12). My parents live in FL, so the temporary housing and food situation for 12 weeks (possibly more) will become very expensive for them, and they are both retired, so their income is limited. My Father was going to go back to work, but he needs to be with my Mother ... so I have decided to sell my beloved Plum Crazy Hellcat, Jimi. I was going to pay Jimi off in June, but instead I have decided to trade Jimi in on a more practical vehicle (2017 Ford Escape) to both get out from under the monthly payment/insurance, and to give the funds that I had allocated to pay Jimi off to my parents. I had Jimi well over half paid off the day that we drove him off the lot last April, so I will have no car payment anymore at all. I am really upset and do not want to make this move, but I do feel it is the right decision. Sometimes it SUCKS being a grown up and do the right thing. I am heartbroken over selling my dream car, and at the same time happy, thankful, and blessed to be in a position to help my parents in this way ... not everyone has this option.
For any of you that are looking for a flawless Plum Crazy Challenger HC (all options listed below in my signature), be on the lookout for Jimi. As of tomorrow when I turn him over and take possession of the Escape, Jimi will have less than 2100 miles. Jimi is being sold to a dealer in the Atlanta, Ga area, and of any information beyond that I am not sure. For those of you interested, the VIN is: 2C3CDZC92GH200548.
I will be checking in here on the forum off and on over the next few days, to say more goodbyes, but after that I am not certain if I will be continuing here on the forum. I don't know how well I will be able to hang without having a HC of my own. Then again, who knows ... we never know what life has waiting for us right around the corner, so perhaps I will get another HC in the future.
So, all of you that are able, please take a ride in your Hellcats and listen to that sweet supercharger whine, and feel the G's as you press down on that gas pedal! Take care, God Bless, and .. .Drive safely, and enjoy!
April
