i raced this kid last year with him redlighting, the track going away, and a DA of 2700 in 91 degree heat. Go to 9:30 of this vid to see what happened: (watch his rearview mirror on the in-car view!!)

Fast forward to recently and this is what he posted. Don't know who the guys are in the Hellcats but they are local in Charlotte area.

Getting tons or air time on you tube. I love how the internet embraces vids like these.

I guess when you're the king everybody wants a piece of you.

Kudos to this kid for having as much fun as possible though.

In the second video, hellcat owner had 60' feet time over 2+ .. On top of that it's 1/8" mile so mostly favor in Tesla.

Even in the 1/8th mile....just gotta get it to the ground.

This is my hellcat on its very first pass ever at the same track as his 2nd vid. Did it 4 times in a row

The bottom line stock and modified Hellcat 1/4 mile times speak for themselves. There are plenty of time slips from this site to proven it.

Wish I had a dollar for every time there's a excuse for a hellcat losing a race.I would have enough to buy another one.

The Tesla will always get off of the line faster. 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds. No contest. As long as the HC has a solid start it should definitely win everytime I'd think.

Acceleration is awesome in the tesla, not sure if I'm the minority here but that vehicle doesn't even begin to appeal to me. Hate the styling and the neutered looks, no sound. I guess if a sissy wanted a quick car there you have it. Snooze alert,no passion.

AWD + Instant Torque = beating the Hellcat off the line every time. Personally, I don't like electric cars at all. Zero, absolute zero curb appeal.

Lol. I'd consider the model 3 as my work car for sure though. I think it looks better than the S personally and way cheaper.

I guess I'm glad they are around so when forced to an electric by the nanny state, I will have options other than a Prius.
