Since I've followed the "Hellcat vs. Telsa" match & re-match, I came across this new blurb concerning Tesla's answer to a quicker car. Looks like they may have found the correct answer for our hellcats. o_O

IKR? I was thinking the same thing, but I think the guys at TESLA have a sense of humor, since their previous mode was "INSANE" mode.

And they still came up short at 10.9

Tell me that's not a $10,000 software upgrade

Look, I' not defending the rolling vibrator, but don't they have beat in the 0-60 time by a full second?

What's the fastest time that the Hellcat has done the ¼ mile in? Wasn't it also 10.9 seconds?

But reeling it in and passing it at the big end is half the fun ;)

    NHRA 10.8 on DRs, remember

I think the 10.7 was DR's and Driveshaft. That should be about right too. In perfect weather, DR's and DS may even yield a high 10.6's

And yes, the $10,000 is mostly a fuse change that allow the batteries to send more power to the wheels.
It's a vastly overpriced option that Tesla knows their "have more money than brains" owners will pay for.
That would be like us paying $5,000 for a 10% overdrive pulley, and another $2,000 for the tune for it. LOL

Talking about spending money, for 6 grand you can have your hellcat run a 10.03 in the 1/4 mile...so for those that want to still be the tesla...... Call craven performance,,,,,,

Wonder how many back to back runs it's good for before it needs a cool down or a charge. I'm betting one.

Regardless of the cost or comparison to the Hellcat, it's still pretty funny that they named it "Ludicrous" lol. Still an impressive vehicle IMO

....I'd still take a Charger Hellcat with a few bolt on's
