Anybody got to test drive or test ride a Hellcat before buying? I just got back from a dealer that wouldn't let me drive it but gave me a ride in it. They have a Torred Red one for sale they just got in this morning. All I can say is BOY OH BOY! It made me jealous of everyone that already have this beast in their garage.

Bought it sight unseen. I had never even sat in a Challenger. I was not disappointed when the car arrived!

I feel for the fellow that ordered that Torred one, since by the 'boy oh boy' comment I am guessing they weren't concerned with the docile break-in methodology! Or, was this the dealership's 'demo', and they drum up extra orders by showing prospects it's hellacious capabilities?!

Even so, I still don't think it's right for anybody to drive a new Hellcat in a manner that's not abiding by the recommended break-in procedures. It's hard enough for the lucky owner to pussyfoot it, for 500 miles or more, but at least they should be the only one to drive it hard, too early, in my opinion. By the way, I have never even sat in a Hellcat, only saw the ones at Barrett-Jackson, --none prowling the streets yet.

When DeputyDog was in town for a meeting, I took him for a quick jaunt on the freeway in my Hellcat. When he got back, he was on the search to buy one. I knew once he rode in it, he would have to have one. These cars are just TOO MUCH FUN!

Heck, I had a '72 Nova, back 35 years ago, and it was called a muscle-car, even back then, and these Hellcats are musclecars too, so I'm with you, --I'm sure it's all the same, right?
Now if I could just figure out this all-new tech, I mean, what's "ABS"?!

I haven't seen any in the wild either. This was my first time in a challenger period.

When I ordered mine, I had never sat in a Challenger either. After the fact I did get to drive a new 392. I'm sure I'll be happy with it.
