So, I already posted these up, but Im gonna do it again. Need to do it while giving thanks to those who helped me meet my goals. That would be Tracey, Josh, Gregg, Bruce and Becky. Went down on Monday. Pulled her in at 9am and Tracey got to work. Swapped out the upper pulley with a Metco 2.85, replaced the pcm and drive shaft with a Drive Shaft Shop carbon fiber drive shaft. Oh plus a 180 degree tstat while she was there. This was all done before lunch.
Then Josh got to play. Started working the tune. After a the first dyno pull she was pulling a little timing. Josh got to work on it. After the seventh and final pull, he dropped her off the rack and out the door at 7:30PM. The crew put up with me being there all day and took care of my ride like it was their own, of course. So here is where we ended up. Thanks again guys. Great to have the best within driving distance. Much appreciation and respect.

This is on pump gas. She's pulling a little timing. Nothing that will be seen or felt other than on the dyno. Would need injectors to rid that. At the track will just mix in some race gas.

Hi Hammer Down. Are those numbers at the rear wheels or the engine ?

Just so there is no confusion, are you now making 801 rwhp with Only an upper 2.85 pulley and custom dyno tune running 93 Octane gas?

That is impressive. Josh has that tune down. When it is time to not worry about warranty I will be having that exact thing done. If you guys don't bust anything this year, that warrany may not look that important soon!

Impressive gains for just an upper pulley on pump gas. Really great!! I just changed the lower pulley to the ATI 10%, so I am wondering if I should see about the same boost gains and power output that you have with just the upper. My upper is stock. From what I understand, the upper 2.85 and lower ATI yield very close to the same gains.

That was my understanding, as well, which is why I did the upper. No grinding. Less labor and cost, as well.

I liked your post the first time and enjoyed reading it a second time! Those are some very impressive numbers... I'm sure you are shooting for some 9 sec passes at the track! Good luck, keep is informed...

Excellent...I had the front bumper off anyways for the heat exchanger install, so I was there already. I elected to keep the stock upper since it has the clutch in it, which I have read prolongs the life of the supercharger. Both accomplish the same thing, so they are both a win in my book. Congrats on the numbers and let us know how it does at the track. I'm looking forward to taking this on a few road courses this summer.
