FFS. I hope that doesn't sell. People need to stop being willing to pay whatever the dealer wants so they'll stop thinking it's okay to mark these up.

Everbody on this site should call that dealership at the same time inquiring about that hellcat. Ask them why they are selling it so inexpensively and tell them you have to have it... LOL

Agree ! If the market bears it, the dealer is going to ask for it. Horrible analogy (think that's the word) , but it's like spouse cheats and your mad at the other person involved; Not your spouse.
The dealer is in bidniz to make money not be your friend. He's got the hottest Cabbage Patch out currently and Christmas is right around the corner. what would you have the dealer do ?

Prices have started plummeting, on ebay; One guy actually lost money! (He paid ~70K, including taxes, but it went for like 66K on ebay, so after ebay takes their commission, that's a significant loss!) Thus, if you want a Hellcat, and don't want to pay a premium, search ebay, and probably get one much like you want, for just a couple grand above sticker, small price to pay if you ask me!

"This is the crap I'm running into"

Hellcat15, Don't run into that crap, just slide on by and keep looking. Every day someone is posting cats for MSRP. (see current thread) It's only going to get better from here. The only reason this situation is not going to improve, is if they announced that they weren't going to build any more. Not likely.

I can't imagine why somebody would try to resell on ebay... They paid at least MSRP, plus sales tax, dealer fees, proper taxes (some states not all), registration fees, auction site fees etc.

I get it if you need to get out of the car for whatever reason but I don't think anyone is going to make money on this. Heck if you are paying 5K or 10K over just buy a new one not some used unit from ebay. LOL

I wouldn't worry about them selling it at that price, its simply to stir up business because it's so outrageous. My guess is they'll wheel and deal it down to $10k over and still make out OR it'll sit on the showroom until the 2016's become available and at most get MSRP.
