A Hellcat is travelling due North at 92mph. The Hellcat is at ground level (obviously). A Pigeon is also travelling due North at 17mph and is flying at 127 feet above ground. The Pigeon does a poop.

How far ahead of the Hellcat does the Pigeon have to be so that the poop falls directly into the Hellcat's hood center grill and splatters all over the supercharger?

    Just curious

Not enough data provided. Winds? Humidity? Air flow dynamics on the front of the car?

It doesn't even say if the Hellcat and the bird are traveling NEAR each other! Could be on the other side of the planet! Just traveling in the same direction.

Not my best drawing of a Hellcat! I am a doodler by trade.....can doodle anybody under the sun, but drawing is not my forte. I could do this math problem in my head, but drawing is just not a gift of mine. I thought it was really bad but figured everybody here would get a good crack out of it!

If the cat has a black satin hood, none of the math matters ! The poop will splatter dead center, immediately bake into the paint due to the heat coming off the SC leaving a huge, permanent bird poop etching.

So I want to know why you would ask this question. Are you a physics student, professor, or just being silly? BTW - I tried to make the drawing a little better but made it worse. Now you can't really tell which is the front end and which is the back......
