a lot of people have went the route of springs to lower the cat . With my drive way I can't . So I'm pondering an air ride set up. Dose anyone have advice? Or tips?

You have to weigh expense to practicality. Lowering the car looks good however scraping or potholes or the driveways at any gas station would tear something up. I am not trying to hurt your feelings for anything. Just trying to be honest.

You have some good points. But
With air I can raise it for driving.

That is true fast cat very true. I like the lowered look stance but I just don't know enough abt it. There were some pics that speedlogix posted of s lowered chall that looked good but it looked liked two inches off the ground. I think it was sublime with the needle spoke rims on it (not sure if you saw that one). Good luck if you decide to do it. I can tell you that you never see them around. You may be on to something

Air ride setups are readily available for our cars. I wouldn't want to use it as I road race my car. I also don't think that they have a very good reputation for high speed stability as well.
They're great for the slow and low or off road crowd though. I'm just not as sure for the go fast guys.
Would love to see how it works if you try it.

Spend the $5,000 an air ride would cost, and get your driveway fixed.

My car is dramatically lowered. So much so that when I went to put on my new wheels I had to wait until the 6th place to get it done because the other 5 didnt have jacks low enough to get under my car. They all had those jacks on the floor you drive over and they thought i would damage something if i tried. I thought it was BS because i dont think im lower than corvettes... and i have never scarped anythign other than the lip on my driveway since owning it...

Another thing, when i had a flat in the front left.. the car was even lower... i couldnt find a floor jack or scissor jack at sears, autozone or advanced low enough to get under it. Eventually i tried the oem scissor jack from my ram and it worked... but the car was just over 2" off the ground and it was a pain...

so yeah, airbags would have alleviated all of that stress. Also, you can get an entire system put in the spot where our spare tires should be... so its pretty stealth.

ive thought about it, but cant swing the investment right now. You're just looking at cost and hopefully not making it harder to sell down the road.

id say do it if you can swing it

Air Ride is the way to go I was the FIRST Hellcat Challenger with the Airride Suspension setup and I love it...like riding in a Cadillac...you will lose the automatic Dampening of the suspension from the factory suspension.

Love the way the cat is sitting. What air ride system did you use? Is it Ridetech?
