Fuel Pressure sensor circuit low. Anyone have this before? The car was surging and almost shut off at a light. No check engine or code at the time that happened. Then went to start it again and check engine and this code appeared but car seems to be running good now?

You might wanna hold off on mods and keep your warranty.

I had it, turns out to be fairly common.

    It's one of two things:

You need to replace the fuel rail, or you need to replace a faulty sensor.

Mine was simply the sensor. It was quick and covered by the warranty.

My car drove perfectly fine while I awaited the part arrival, but the night before I went in, the car lost some power at WOT then chugged like it was starving for fuel. It was the PCM reacting to the faulty readings in the sensor.

Got the new sensor, car runs like new since it was changed about 2.5 weeks ago. Absolutely zero issues.

Thanks, the car is running fine now but the check engine light is still on. I will take it to the dealer to handle.

I haven't posted in forever.. My car threw this same code last night. Other than noticing a difference when starting (almost like its struggling) it then runs normal as far as I can tell. I guess a trip to the dealer is in order.. :(

Got the same code, P018C, upon start up yesterday. Dealer appointment for Wednesday, 06-01-2016. Will report on what they find and do.

It's already been explained. They'll do one of two things: replace a faulty sensor or replace the fuel rail.

Just got my '15 Hellcat back from the dealer. Three days total for CEL code P018C. Service performed was: "Removed and replaced left side fuel rail with fuel pressure sensor."

On a side note, they flashed the amp, the PCM and the TCM. The stereo sounds even better!
