I hear it more now than new. Just over 1000 miles. Sounds like an exhaust manifold leak or maybe a lifter. It may just be my imagination. Anyone else hearing something like this?

I have had a few cars that started up with ticks. just wondering if it was normal. WIth the garage door down all you hear is bad ass starting up. 5 year 100k warranty I plan on running it like it was a 707hp muscle car should be.

I have seen 11 but passenger has seen 12. Way to much power for the stock tires. That to me is what makes it so much fun. At 60 it will get sideways with the TC on with anything less than a perfect road.

The ticking on start up is common. I get it and every other HC I've heard does it. Doesn't sound like lifter noise. I think it's just nature of the beast.

Where are you located. Altitude effects boost big time.

You'll probably lose about 1psi at that altitude. I'm at 2200 ft and my 15psi rated Shelby only saw 14

It's on mine too. I thought it was an exhaust leak, but it stops after a minute or 2, a friend thinks its just the fuel injectors getting going.

That's what I think also. Like I said I've heard it on several 6.2s.

most American performance cars I have been around has the noisiest injectors ever. My SRT8 ticked like there was no tomorrow, could really hear it when pulling up along side a drive thru. Haven't had my Cat long enough to figure out what noises it makes but next time I'm out I'll see if it too has the familiar injector ticking sounds.

All three of my Hemi's have that noise. At 4350 feet of elevation, how much boost will I have?
