So we all know about all the crazy delays we can/have seen from deposit to delivery. But what about specifically from the time it's on the rail Til the time it arrives at the dealership?

My baby is scheduled to arrive on 3/20. I have to fly out to get her. Think I'm safe booking a flight for 3/26??? I'm going to get a refundable ticket anyway, just in case. But wondering if that leaves enough buffer. I COULD do 4/2 but I really don't want it to sit long. And Im ready!

My car is scheduled to arrive here in Georgia on 3/20 as well. I'm hoping it makes it here on time.

    You're local to your dealer?

Yeah about a half an hour from my house. Smaller dealer, gave me MSRP.

Probably depends on how far the dealer is from Toronto but FYI mine was built on Feb 19, due to central Iowa Mar 16. So about one month after mfgr to the central US. After it got on the train in Canada it had to switch in Chicago, that seemed to take a week or more. Good luck!

My car was JS (built and ready to ship to storage) on 1/28. Schedule changed a bunch of times (weather etc). Sat in Angolia NY yard for quite a while. Finally 3/2 was the delivery date. It arrived unexpectedly at at the dealer on 2/27. They texted me. I jumped a plan and less than 24 hours later on 2/28 I was driving the beast home.

So im my case it was 4 weeks exactly.

The first projection was off, but not by much, seems it has jumped around by a couple of weeks. Can't complain, it needs to rain and wash away the crap on the roads.

Yesterday RS said Friday evening delivery, the dealer said Monday the 16th.

You ought to contact the dealership and see what they think. Mine was spot on minus one day. As long as they know your coming from a great distance they should be able to work with you.
