Well we get to set the clocks back tonight. Its 40s and rain all day here in SE WI.

I figure my days with the Hellcat on the road are numbered.

First time the salt truck comes out I am done.

I have my fuel tank full of good gas ( no ethanol )with storage treatment additive, so it will be easy to top off once I put it away.

Who else is ready for winter and what are you plans?

My dealer has a Hellcat Charger coming in very soon I thought about getting it and putting blizzaks on it and driving it. I won't do that with the Challenger but I would a Charger. Probably won't happen but its tempting.

Hellcat went to bat cave last week; had the interior and engine bay detailed, and Buddas' good for the season.
Now I'm rolling on Blizzaks mounted on a '14 Shaker, absolutely no issue with this Challenger in the snow! 6m/t with a Johan/Diablo tune.

Had a dress rehearsal this week. Got it out to burn off the 315's yesterday when the sun came out for two hours, tonight we may take it out, this week sounds promising, but time IS getting short. She will go into the "shed" for the winter hibernation, smaller stuff like the bikes can come over to the main garage.

I have a nice dry, mouse free garage so the only thing I do it hook up the Battery Tender. Worked fine for 6 winters with my 09 SRT.

My opinion is a lot of people overthink/overdo the winter storage but on the other hand it won't hurt anything to overdo it.

My 09 SRT continued to draw current after 2 weeks so I used the Battery Tender. I'll put it on the 15 also as even though the battery may still start the car, I'm concerned with the voltage dropping below the point where damage starts to occur to the battery (10.5 volts if I remember correctly). Maybe I'm the one overthinking on this point.

I'm not really hibernating but it will only come out when it's decent out, fairly salt free and dry, sunny and over 40.
So in other words, next April.

The only thing that will keep my CAT in the garage is the supposedly massive El NiƱo storms that are supposed to hit Cali. this winter. Other than that, she is a 365/24/7 CAT.

Planning on filling the tank with gas and stabilizer tomorrow and driving for one last time to circulate the gas through the system. Time to get my adrenanline rush on my snowmobile.
