Hello to everyone! I've been reading posts on this forum and taking in a wealth of information on these cars for months. Today it finally felt like it was time to join, so here I am! I've been building, repairing and customizing Harley's for the last twenty years and after recently learning about the Challenger Hellcat I've decided I can't live without one! These cars are simply the best looking car on the road. I've always been a dodge owner and can really appreciate what they've built in this car. I'm getting in the game a little late, but hope to have one soon.

Thanks MD! I used to live in Ft. Myers (Cape Coral) I had a bike shop there for awhile. Did you just get your car at Galeana?

Welcome to the forum of fun and delight.

No better help than self help in finding yourself a Hellcat.

Cars.com is showing a total of 1656 Hellcats available...
    - 1260 Challenger Hellcats
    - 396 Charger Hellcats
all kinds of colors...all kinds of different configurations

This forum will also contain great leads on Hellcats! Do a quick search and see!

They are out there...just have to do your homework. Should not have to (DON'T) pay more than MSRP and some are below. Don't be afraid to fly/buy/drive it home. Great experience and gets some/all of break-in done along with creating some super memories.

Thanks to everyone! I'll definitely be doing my homework. There are a lot of very proud dealers here in the Los Angeles area. I'll very likely buy a car out of state. That does raise a question for me that I'm sure some of you will know the answer to: If I buy a car in another state, will I have to pay tax on that car in both states? From what I've read, if the car has less than 7,500 miles and I bring it into California, (Which it will!) I'll be responsible for paying CA sales tax based on which city I live in. Any CA members who have bought out of state, what was your experience?

I don't live in CA, but I did by a car out of state (in AZ). When I made the purchase at the dealer in AZ they had me sign paperwork stating that I was not an AZ resident, and so I did not have to pay AZ state sales tax on my Hellcat. Bottom, line, I did not have to pay a state tax in both states.
Best of luck in your car search.

The dealer I bought from (Avondale Dodge) sells a lot of vehicles to out of state buyers, so they seemed to know what they are doing. I'm sure that any dealer that works with out of state buyers can work with you on the tax issue. I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be stuck paying state tax in both states.
