If you can get 38k for a 2012...sell it quick. My spotless 1500 mile 2014 with sunroof/auto got me 39.5 trade and sold for 41,200.

When I'm pricing a car, I always search nationwide on autotrader.com and cars.com to see what the range is, then narrow it down to only ones with the same options as mine to give me a more specific range. I don't ever try to get top dollar for mine, I'd rather get rid of them so I can use it for whatever is coming next. I hate having a car for sale for months. I'd rather get the amount I need out of it and move on, so I price it pretty low and hold firm on that price (just a little wiggle room)...but that's just my strategy. YMMV.

I always trade in. Hate tire kickers. Also I save on the sales tax on new car. Im thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of 31k to 35k.

bargin more than that I started there and went up. My '12 had all the toys with 8,500 miles only, plus some aftermarket stuff. Take 36-36.5 min. You can do it. Once you seal the deal with an extra 4k in your pocket you can buy me a cold Labatt's Blue.
