Anyone having problems with to much traction in track mode? I have the 6 speed and it won't let it slip at all. It is no fun when you are trying to go and it breaks to gain traction.

That's odd. TC is off in Track mode so you should get less.

Mine is the same way. Doesn't let you spin too much... If you want traction all the way off hold the traction button for about 8 seconds while you're stopped

Something is wrong with your car then. I can keep my car in default mode, all traction controls on and hit the throttle, and my tires will spin like crazy till traction control finally kicks in. Hell, I can break them loose on the freeway at anything under 65mph on stock tires in pretty much every drive mode.

Put your car in either sport mode or track mode and hold down your traction control button till the car beeps at you. Now your TC is all the way off and it should be a tire shredding machine.

No, in Sport mode TC is off, in Track mode you're still saddled with some.

The way I understand it you have more traction control in track mode and Less traction control in sport mode.

    Not how I understood it...

Street - fully supported traction control
    Sport - partial traction control
Track - all off (you are on your own)

    Sorry you misunderstood.

"Track" isn't referring to drag strip by the way, it refers to a road course, and they feel you need TC and stability controls to safely run around a road course.

A8, I knew I wanted to go fast LOL

I wonder if there is a more aggressive TC on the M6 than on the A8?

Nope. There is less traction control in sport mode than track mode. The only way to turn it off is to hold the TC button until it chimes.

Unless you actually turn off TC, sport mode has the least amount of TC of any of the presets. Track mode has more TC than Sport mode and Street has the most TC.

Hold the TC button down until it chimes. That will turn off TC.
