When you have the car operating with Red Key can youugo to Black Key mode on the go utilizing the SRT function screen. Also, the opposite if operating in Black Key can you go to Red the same way while on the go. Even better can you program a "button " on the screen/display for this.

    Thank You.

Yes, consider the red key a master key that unlocks the full car potential and all options. The black key will lock you out off the 700+ mode and theres nothing you can do to overide it.

Ok, so when in Red Key if I was in traffic I can put into 500hp mode (Black Key) through the SRT options without necessarily having the Black Key with me.

^^^^^^ What they all said. Red key trumps the black key, but red key allows you to "dial down" the HP if you wish..

If you're really wanting to dial it down, put it in valet mode.. I think thats about 300 hp just FYI..

Still not sure what the point of putting it at 500HP is honestly. No better MPG. Maybe less wear and tear on parts? Anyone have any thoughts on that?

Valet mode also puts in "Limp" mode - correct. I thought it wouldn't go out of second gear?

Well for me in traffic and a M6 keeps it a little more civil I would think for the stop and go's.

You don't need the black key. This beast is so civilised it is like Jekell and Hyde. Completely docile when it needs to be or a missile when you want it to be. My missus has not driven it yet. I said it is a piece of cake. Just don't use the accelerator pedal like you do in the Smart Car

agree with others, you will never need to put it in 500hp mode, it's as docile as you want it to be. The go pedal isn't touchy whatsoever. I really think the car reads your mind and knows what you want on top of everything. It is truly an amazing piece of engineering awesomeness.
