Recently purchased my 15' Charger. Finally got off work early enough to take it to the track. Weather was low 80s and got a bit cooler as the day went on. All passes were made on P zero all season tires...

First pass was leaving in first gear... Tried to roll into it but punched the throttle too fast.. Resulting in some wheel hop so as you can see from the time slip I let off and cruised down the track... Second pass I left in second and tried paddle shifting... That resulted in a much better time but my shifting just wasn't nearly as crisp as the A8 does on its own.

The following two passes were made leaving in 2nd and putting the car back into auto shift so it would shift itself which netted some slightly better times.

5th time was made before the car could really cool down from the previous time but still netted the best time. This was leaving in first and rolling into the throttle to keep the car from spinning or hopping. This pass the car left very nice but there was some spinning at the top of first and a bit in second gear. I'm very impressed that the car laid down a 1.6 60ft on street tires . Technology is something else.. I hope to get the times down a bit more whe the weather cools down..

Nice ET'S for first time out and oem tires.
Are you planning on getting some drag radials for easier launching ?
What custom page race settings did you use?

    Congrats
    Linda:)

Those are pretty good times for stock tires. Drag radials will put you in the tens.

A 1.6x 60' on stock A/S rubber is downright magic. I would have thought the 2 tenths better 60' would have netted a ~4 tenths down track but I see your MPH was a touch slower on that run than the previous. My hat goes off to you. Well done!

I set everything on Sport including traction. I'm contemplating trying a set of Drag radials out but concerned about having driveshaft issues.
I've seen a couple of guys do it with no issue so I maybe I will give it a try. "Stock driveshaft I mean"

Yes I was thinking the same thing. I kind of doubt even on a drag tire That I will see much better 60ft times than 1.6 however I also see that my 1/8 mile time and mph need improvement for 10sec ets. I think 10.9 cars are running 6.9 -7.0 in the 1/8 at 100 or more mph.
Hopefully a drag tire will allow me to leave above idle and I will be able to gain that mph for a 10sec. Pass. Just thinking out loud
