    Quick question:

What is the best provable 1/4 mile time for a STOCK Hellcat with and without drag radials?

    Thanks,

Since you're already calling out the drag radials, define stock? One member here got 1006 hp on a "stock" Hellcat, just spending a few days tuning on race fuel, after swapping the blower pulley.

A tune is not stock. I was very clear. I asked for best 1/4 mile times with and without DRs on an otherwise stock Hellcat.

I personally know of a car that has done 11.2x factory stock down to the paper air filter.. there may be quicker cars out there though..

Quickest stock time WITH drag radials is 10.69 done by Ricci Cavallaro.

Quickest stock time on slicks is 10.62 done by myself.

Wow...you ran 10.62 with nothing else but slicks? No weight cutting or anything else?

Robert, yes, I also had an aluminum driveshaft, which should almost be a necessity for safety sakes. I'm not convinced the shaft makes the cars any quicker though.

There is a thread I made last November about running that, but it turned into a sh*t storm. There are a few people on this forum that get sensitive about ET and trap speeds. I have the timeslip and witnesses to verify, but that isn't enough for some people.

Car was full weight... actually heavier, because I still had my tools and cooler in the car.

Very impressive and no, the new shaft wouldn't have done a thing for speed. Thanks for the info.

It was a handful at the track on street tires

That trap speed was strong, for the ET!

Thanks, If I can get it off the line better maybe I'll run some stronger times. That was my first time at the track with it. 11.77-11.91 were my decent runs and they all trapped between 124 & 125. They all had 2 second + 60 ft times too. I was basically rolling out of the hole and progressing into full throttle slowly in 1st gear.

Would love to get into the 11.6's on street tires in it.

Yes it was a great pass.
I was there too and spoke to him about M6 ET's. He was very excited, as we all get about running a great 1/4 mile.

    Linda:)

That is a solid pass on 275 Firestones! No doubt you got the skill to run a 11.5 or 6 with those little front-runners you have on the back. That weekend was a freakin' blast too!

Linda, It was really cool meeting you and your husband! You have an awesome Mopar race family. I was hoping to see you best your 9.72. I have no doubt you all will achieve your goals this season. What wheel and tire set up are you running (radial or slick)?
