Not sure if this is a re-post, but I just read this article from Torque News, stating though Hellcats are being delivered daily to dealerships, the hold-up in the process of getting them built is due to the shortage of Supercharger supplies. Anyone have insider info to confirm or deny?

And I just read a story today stating that they were ramping up production of the Hellcat engines....supposedly for the Jeep Cherokee TrackHawk that they said they weren't going to make. I think they need to focus on fulfilling the existing back orders before introducing a new model.

The article is referring to a shortage earlier in the manufacture year. Supercharger availablity became less of a problem, but then there's the Automatic Transmission shortage that followed.

I think the auto shortage was only due to an FCA and ZF transmission contract for MY2015.

    Oh, I'm not disagreeing.

I just think that since they did increase production, and could shit out cars with manuals.... The supercharger shortage had to be rectified.
