Looking at the Dodge website it looks like towing is "Not Recommended" with the Hellcat, or SRT for that matter. The 5.7 Challenger gives of tow rating of a 1000 lbs however and bolt on trailer hitches are manufactured for the car. Since we go back and forth between 2 locations (about 350 miles) if would be helpful to be able to tow my Polariz RZR with the Hellcat to save on the number of trips. Total weight is right at about 1000 lbs. Anybody see any problems with this?

why would anyone want a hellcat to tow something... I could see the charger,, but not the challenger... although it would look cool doing a burn out towing something

Because it's a car, and can be used for things other than burnouts. In my case, towing the RZR would be a big help. Like Rayzazoo, I too have a kayak, it would be easy to throw it on the RZR trailer and take it down to the lake to launch. I've got a dog and plan to take out the bottom seat cushion so the rear seat folds flat and my dog can go with us when we want. Why would anyone want to do that? BTW, the car will be an A8.

I admit it's not the ideal situation, but why not tow your dirt bike out in the desert, or whatever? Just curious if anyone has towed anything yet with a Hellcat.

I might tow my hellcat to silver state classic just so I can use my buddy's truck and race car trailer. I don't want to load the HC with all the supplies necessary for the trip and runs.
Wouldn't a roof rack work for the kayak?
