anyone been to a track experience with kids?

my 10 year old would love to come....last time i took my wife....she spent most of the time reading a book

this time my 10 year old son wants to come...i know i have to pay, but will they let him in the car? can he drive in MY car?

    is there an age limit?

how many years do you have to use up your track experience

Even if you could sign a waiver of liability, if something bad happened and the media got wind of it, you'd be crucified.

Several years ago at a Viper Owner's Invitational which was held in Las Vegas, one of the attendees had an accident at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with a driving instructor in the passenger seat. The instructor sustained a bad foot / ankle injury and sued the attendee. (As I recall, the instructor didn't have health insurance and had no recourse.)

My point is not meant to suggest that your child would sue you, but to illustrate that the worst can happen even though you may say "it can't happen here!"

As a Trustee on a healthcare trust fund that doesn't make sense. Just my opinion

What doesn't make sense to you? I'd be happy to clarify if you can be more specific.

Taking your son or daughter to the track is a great experience for the two of you, no they won't be able to be in the car racing yet( 16) unless you go the jr dragster route which starts at age 5, but just being around the track there is a lot to learn and see, I take the grand kids to our racing events and also go to the Nationals to see the BIG cars run. Don't just sit in the stands but get right near the staging area to see and explain what is going on..
