What drive mode are you in when traction control is completely disabled?

Did you change drive modes while driving after turning traction control completely off?

If you turn your cruise control on, it will default to default TC.

I drive with TC off at all times.

Just habit to get in the car, fire it up, buckle up, drop it in drive, hit the TC button and drive away. Once you hear the ding, you can let go of the button.

As long as you start pressing the button before rolling, you can start going, just before sure to not let go of the button before it chimes.

You cannot press TC off while even moving 1mph.

If you hit the cruise, it will turn TC back on.
    Makes sense, but really annoying.

Glad to be of some help.
