Come to a stop (or at least less than 2-3 MPH). Hold traction control button for at least 5 seconds. The DID (Driver Information Display) will show that Traction Control has been deactivated and an audible chime will be heard. This is 'FULL OFF' mode as described in the owner's manual.

LOL, not really.. only thing that is turned on at that point is ABS. The rest is on you when it gets sideways, and it WILL get sideways. The owner's manual doesn't recommend FULL OFF on the street and for once I agree with this particular car. In the past I would drive with everything off often, but with this torque monster, I just don't feel the need. That said, I drive around ALWAYS expecting and ready for the car to go sideways at any point.. especially in this cold winter.

Traction control does help save the inexperienced high horse, high torque driver until they get the hang of the HellCat, but I need it completely off to get the most of my car. When I leave it on I feel like the car is saying " I HAVE FALLEN AND I CANT GET UP"! I recommend some good seat time before attempting full off.

You'll also see the TC "OFF" indicator on your cluster when selecting "Sport" mode on the SRT menu. Spin 'em as much as you like, although SRT says the 'puter will step in if it senses yaw.

Interestingly, switching to the "Track" setting adds back a bit of traction control.

Thats the old days nothing from putting you in a ditch. I agree tsc, I spray washed my car the other day and the car was all wet and I came out on the road to go home and gave her a little pedal and she kicked out to the left so hard and so quick:eek: and then everything kicked in and stopped her temper tantrum.o_O I would have went around completely if all that stuff was off and the funny thing was I hardly tapped the gas pedal.

You use it to what the surface dictates and you can't go wrong.
