Just bought this car on Friday (April Fool's Day) and I really enjoy driving the 8 speed automatic a lot more than the steeply geared 6 speed manual I had in the GT500. All the electronic gadgets and creature comforts are also great. My wife traded her Charger SRT8 so I could get the Shelby, and she is very happy to be driving a Mopar again (she hated driving the GT500). We live in St. Charles, MO which in the St. Louis area and look forward to participating in some club related activities. Here are a few pictures of my new Hellcat.

    Thanks, David
PS: I'm also heavily involved in Thunderbird Super Coupes.

500 for the most part there's a 500 mile break in procedure in your owners manual, which is copied below.

To help the break in and releave the stress of keeping ones foot out of it I would suggest a wooden block under the gas pedal that limits travel to about 1/4 throttle. That should keep you under 100 mph!

Good luck with the break in, it is a painful time. Mentally and physically exhausting!

I should have followed that advice... I made it 300 miles before hitting 100.

Welcome. Your car is a twin to mine. PCP, A8, Sunroof (?). Picked mine up on Black Friday. Just turned over 1000 miles. No issues, no problems, 100% enjoyment.

Oops....According to those break in instructions, I've pretty much done everything wrong . Only hammered on it once, and that was after 100 miles, but it's been driven pretty much like I intend to normally drive it from the time I pulled it off the dealer lot.

Not aggressive, but not babying it either. I guess I'll try to be more gentle for the next couple hundred miles.

    Thanks, David

Yes, mine is equipped the same. Only other thing listed on the window sticker was something like P Zero Summer tires.
